In addition to the 50+ World Team Championship featured in earlier posts, there is also a 65+ section going on. The US didn’t send a strong team to this one (although we are represented), but there is plenty of strong chess being played by titled players fighting for other countries. I found an instructive game played by Grandmaster Jakob Meister as Black against FM Guenther Jahnel. Both players are representing German clubs – Meister is part of the top seeded Lasker club, while Jahnel plays for Saxonia.
