FLORIDA CHESS TOURNAMENTS

The NSCF produces scholastic tournaments as part of its community initiatives in Florida. Our events are open to all students in grades K to 12 attending school (public, charter, private, religious or registered in homeschool) in South Florida, but are not affiliated with any school district. The events are free for participants thanks to grants and sponsors.

These Florida chess tournaments follow USCF rules but are not rated by the Federation.  Because of the academic value, chess notation is required at all NSCF produced events. Score sheets will be provided. Clocks are not required; however, TDs may place a clock on games that are running up against the time control.

To see photos from some of our prior events, visit our Community Chess Galleries.
