The National Scholastic Chess Foundation (NSCF) is excited to announce the continuation of our popular beginner class! This class is designed for students Grades 1 - 5 interested in learning the fun and exciting game of chess. The class will offer a balance of structured lessons and supervised play time. Each week instructor Michael McDermott will start off the class by teaching the students a new topic and then the students will have a chance to execute what they just learned in live games with their classmates. Students can also use this class to prepare for our upcoming tournaments and ask our instructor for tips and advice!
